Date: 1-30 November 2024
Participants: 4243
By integrating nature and trees into life education, EcoArt Festival was co-curated by Expressive Artist JacMila, Eco-Artist Christina Chan, and Arborist from The Conservancy Association and held from 1 to 30 November 2024, which aims to advocate care for both trees and life. Over 4200 visitors were attracted to the 1-month exhibition in JC-CA Urban Forestry Green Hub, including residents from Sham Shui Po District and office workers passing by. Through various forms of expressive arts, including visual arts, sound, dance and drama, and by utilizing natural materials as creative media, the festival encouraged public participation in co-creating art installations, which were showcased in a public exhibition. While promoting the concept of “Everyone is an Artist”, the festival also sought to foster a closer connection between the community and the trees in their surroundings.
