Little Kapok wanders around the city alone. He has never seen such an eye-opening city landscape

Total Sessions: 32

Total Participants: 1173

Little Kapok wanders around the city alone. He has never seen such an eye-opening city landscape. Parks, schools, skyscrapers that are taller than trees, and more are everywhere. Despite all the fear and trembling, he is looking for something……

He is longing to meet some new friends. In his journey, he encounters birds, bees and a street cleaner. Will Little Kapok become good friends with them? Suddenly, a strange ,shadowy figure appeared in front of Little Kapok’s eyes, “Un…Un…Uncle Yung?”

The story features two of Hong Kong’s most familiar trees — the banyan and the kapok tree — as its main characters.

Together with the facilitators, the audience experiences the story’s unfolding journey, reflecting on the process and ideas along the way. Through this interactive experience, participants gain an introduction to the role and possibilities of urban forests within local communities.
